For carbon dioxide, number of moles n1=2244=12

Molar specific heat of CO2 at constant volume CV1=5R2

For oxygen, number of moles n2=1632=12

Molar specific heat of O2 at constant volume CV2=5R2

Let T K be the temperature of mixture.

Heat lost by O2 = Heat gained by CO2

n2CV2T2=n1CV1T1

12 52 R310-T=12×5R2T-300

2T=610

T=6102=305 K = 32 °C
