The correct answer is: 0.70 g
BaCl 2 + Al 2 SO 4 3 BaSO 4 + AlCl 3 Meq. Before Reaction 3 0 × 0 . 2 4 0 × 0 . 3 0 0 = 6 = 1 2 = 0 = 0 Meq. After Reaction 0 6 6 6

6 Meq. of BaCl2 reacts with 6 Meq. of Al2SO43 to produce 6 Meq. of BaSO4 and 6 Meq. ofAlCl3.

   Meq. of BaSO4 formed = 6 =Wt.E × 1000; E=2332

wt. of BaSO4 formed =6 ×E1000=6 ×2332 × 1000=  0.70 g
