The correct answer is: 1.5 A
Resistance in the arms AC and BC are in series,



∴    R ′ = 3 + 3 = 6  Ω

Now, R' and 3 Ω are in parallel,

∴  Req=6×36+3=2 Ω

Now, V=IR

⟹  I=32=1.5 A
