The correct answer is: 7 min.

According to Newton's law of cooling, Rate of cooling is directly proportional to the temperature difference between body and surrounding.

dTdt=KT-T0=KTi+Tf2-T0

Where, T=Ti+Tf2 is average temperature of body.

The substitute the value as per first condition

  70-405=K 70+402-20

  K=635
As per the second condition,

60-30t=63560+302-20

The time required is given to cool the body from 60° to 30° is given by

 t=30×3525×6=7 min
