The braking tension force for the wire is, F=σ·A

F=4.8×107 N m-210-6 m2F=48 N

Now, the tension force will provide the necessary centripetal force so that it can rotate in a horizontal circle,

FC=48 Nmω2r=48 Nω=4810×0.3=4 rad s-1

Thus, the maximum angular velocity with which it can rotate in a horizontal circle is 4 rad s-1
