The correct answer is: 600 J
The weight of bucket when it has been pulled up a distance x is (5-0.2x).Hence, the required work is

W = x = 2 0 x = 0 5 - 0 . 2 x × 1 0 × dx

= 5 0 x x = 0 x = 2 0 - 2 x 2 2 x = 0 x = 2 0

W = 5 0 × 2 0 - 2 0 2 = 6 0 J
