Initial velocity =u.

Velocity after covering a distance of x m=2u3.

For first part of the motion, we can write

v2=u2+2as2u32=u2-2ax2ax=5u29   ...Eq1

For the second part of the motion when bullet comes to rest, we can write

02=2u32-2ax'2ax'=4u29   ...Eq2

Dividing equation(2) by equation(1), we get

x'x=45.
