The correct answer is:
$6000 \mathrm{~N}$
Retarding force $\mathrm{F}_{\text {retard }}=\frac{\mathrm{m} \Delta \mathrm{v}}{\Delta \mathrm{t}}=\frac{1500 \times(0-20)}{5}$
$$
=\frac{1500 \times-20}{5}=-6000 \mathrm{~N}
$$
$$
=\frac{1500 \times-20}{5}=-6000 \mathrm{~N}
$$
