The correct answer is:
decrease
$0.6 \mathrm{M} \mathrm{NaCl}$ solution is hypertonic to $0.6 \mathrm{M}$ sucrose solution because there are more solutes per unit volume in $\mathrm{NaCl}$ solution as compared to sucrose solution. Hence, when the cell is placed in $0.6 \mathrm{M} \mathrm{NaCl}$ solution after being placed in $0.6 \mathrm{M}$ sucrose solution water will move out of it and its size will decrease on account of exosmosis.
