Given, λ=6300 =6300×10-10 m

=6.3×10-7 m

When equipment is immersed in a liquid of refractive index 1.33, then wavelength λ is changed.

  λ=λμ=6.3×10-71.33

Fringe width, β=Dλd

=1.33×6.3×10-71×10-3×1.33

=6.3×10-4

=0.63×10-3 m

=0.63 mm
