The word 'ASSASSINATION' has 13 letters in which there are 6 vowels viz. $A A A I I O$ and 7 consonants $\operatorname{SSSSNNT}$.
$\therefore \quad n(S)=13 \quad$ No. of vowels $=6$
$\therefore \quad$ Probability of chosing a vowel $=\frac{6}{13}$
No. of consonants $=7$
$\therefore \quad$ Probability of chosing a consonant $=\frac{7}{13}$
$\therefore \quad n(S)=13 \quad$ No. of vowels $=6$
