The correct answer is:

$9 \mathrm{v}+88=21 \mathrm{v}$
$12 \mathrm{v}=88$
$\mathrm{~V}=\frac{88}{12}$
Required $=9 \mathrm{~V}=9 \times \frac{88}{12}=66$
