The linear momentum remains conserved before and after the collision, therefore, 

2 kg×36×10003600 m s-1+3 kg×0=3 kg+2 kgvv=205=4 m s-1

The loss in kinetic energy is, KE=KEi-KEf=122 kg10 m s-12+0-122 kg+3 kg4 m s-12=100-40=60 kg m2 s-2 =60 J
