The correct answer is:
$40 \mathrm{~m}$
For maximum range of projectile $\theta$ will be $45^{\circ}$ by the law of projectile motion
$$
\therefore \quad R_{\max }=\frac{u^2}{g}
$$
Given, $\quad u=20 \mathrm{~ms}^{-1}$ and $g=10 \mathrm{~ms}^{-2}$
$$
\begin{aligned}
& R_{\max }=\frac{(20)^2}{10}=\frac{400}{10} \\
& R_{\max }=40 \mathrm{~m}
\end{aligned}
$$
$$
\therefore \quad R_{\max }=\frac{u^2}{g}
$$
Given, $\quad u=20 \mathrm{~ms}^{-1}$ and $g=10 \mathrm{~ms}^{-2}$
$$
\begin{aligned}
