The correct answer is:
Haemophilia is a sex-linked recessive disease. Normally, blood clotting occurs as a result of cascade of proteins. In this disease, one of the proteins participating in this cascade is affected. As a result, the clotting of blood is also affected. A small cut may bleed for a long time. Male child may become haemophilic when his mother is at least a carrier of haemophilia.
