The correct answer is: 6.4× 10 4  m
Given   λ=600  nm   =600× 10 9 m.

                                   =6× 10 7  m

D=0.8m,x=1.5mm= 1.5× 10 3  m,n=2,a=?

  a x D =nλ

a= nλD x = 2×6× 10 7 ×0.8 1.5× 10 3 = 9.6× 10 4 1.5

        =6.4× 10 4  m
