The correct answer is: 2

In circular motion with constant speed, magnitude of instantaneous velocity, vins=ωr.

Time taken to turn by 90° will be =π2ω=π2ω.

Displacement will be equal to the length of  AB=r2+r2=r2

Average velocity

vavg=displacementtime=r2×2ωπ=22πωr

Hence, required ratio vins vavg =ωrπ22ωr=π22

Therefore, x=2.
