As torque due to gravitational force will be variable, therefore we can use

Now, torque of mg at time t =vxtmg and horizontal velocity of the projectile will remain constantvx=vcos45°=20×12=102.

=mgvxt22=(0.1)(10)(102)222

=202

=800 kg m2 s-1
