Aabb is crossed with AaBb. Gametes produced by Aabb is Ab and ab. Gametes produced by AaBb are AB, Ab, aB and ab. The offsprings can be tabulated as follows:

ab AaBb Aabb aaBb aabb


The highlighted offsprings are heterozygous only for one character. Thus their proportion will be 4 out of 8 or 50%
