Due to repeated injuries to the internal tissue caused by the inhalation of dust in the mill results in development of scar tissue. This scar tissue formation is known as fibrosis. In it, the damaged cells/ tissue get replaced by connective tissue and if unchecked leads to formation of permanent scar tissue. This causes breathing problems and respiratory disorders as the tissue loses flexibility.
