The correct answer is: 20 cm

A plano-convex lens behaves like a concave mirror when its curved surface is silvered.

F of the concave mirror so formed

= R 2 μ = 30 2 × 1.5  =10 cm

To form an image of object size, the object should be placed at 2 F of the concave mirror.

The distance of the object from the lens = 2 × F

       = 2 × 10 =  20 cm.
