The correct answer is: L2 from positive end
For cell of emf E balancing length
=L3=13×L (length of wire)
Increased length of wire = L+L2=3L2
Since, the cell is the same, therefore the new balancing length
= 13 (new increased length)
=13×32L
=L2
Therefore, for the same cell the balance point will be as length L2 from positive end.
