Also, let N 0 be the total number of nucleus initial

After time t, N A + N B = N 0

N A +0.3 N A = N 0

N A = N 0 1.3

Also, the rate of disintegration of A

N A = N 0 e λt

N 0 1.3 = N 0 e λt ; 1 1.3 = e λt orlog( 1.3 )=λt

t=log(1.3)λ
