The correct answer is: 2.5 ms

Recall the formula of current in terms of angular frequency, 
i=i0sinωt, here the maximum value is, i0=iRMS×2,

here, the value of ω is the same as, 2πf, and f=50 Hz, given in the question, 

i02=i0sinωtωt=π4t=π4×T2π=18×f=18×50=2.5 ms
