A solution of m-chloroaniline, m-chlorophenol and m-chlorobenzoic acid in ethyl acetate was extracted initially with a saturated solution of $\mathrm{N}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{H}\text{C}{\text{O}}_3$ to give fraction $\text{A}\text{.}$ The left over organic phase was extracted with dilute $\text{NaOH}$ solution to give fraction $\text{B}\text{.}$ The final organic layer was labelled as fraction $\text{C}\text{.}$ Fraction $\text{A,}\text{B}$ and $\text{C,}$ contain respectively.
