The correct answer is: 1800
The energy radiated per second by a black body is given by Stefan's law,

     E t = σ T 4 × A

where A is the surface area of the black body

     E t = σ T 4 × 4 π r 2

Since black body is a sphere, A = 4 π r 2

Case (i)

        E t = 4 5 0 ,   T = 5 0 0 K ,   r = 0.12 m

∴    4 5 0 = 4 π σ 5 0 0 4 0.12 2                                ...(i)

Case (ii)

E t = ? ,   T = 1 0 0 0 K ,   r = 0.06 m                       ...(ii)

Dividing Eq. (ii) by Eq. (i), we get

     E / t 4 5 0 = 1 0 0 0 4 0.06 2 5 0 0 4 0.12 2 = 2 4 2 2 = 4

⇒   Et=450×4=1800 W
