a and b are true.
The materials like RNA and ribosomal proteins moving from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and proteins like DNA polymerase, carbohydrates, signaling molecules, and lipids move into the nucleus through the nuclear pore. Kinetochores are a proteinaceous structure present at the side of the centromere for the attachment of spindle fiber during cell division. There is very little access to the nuclear interior that is seen through the nuclear pores for DNA (mitosis/gene transfer).
