Anaphase-I
When each daughter cell gets a half number of the chromosome from a parent cell through which the genetic constituent of gametes is finally decided. It is done in anaphase I stage of meiosis in which homologous pairs of chromosomes are separated and pulled to opposite ends. Due to which single set of chromosomes is present in each end.
