The correct answer is: 11

Given,

Pair of straight lines equation ax2-4xy-2y2=0

Now angle between them is given by tanθ=2h2-aba+b

Now putting the value in formula we get,

tanθ=24+2aa-2

Now given cosθ=15tanθ=25-11=24

24+2aa-2=24

24+2a=24a-2

44+2a=24a-22

4+2a=6a-22

6a2-24a+24-4-2a=0

6a2-26a+20=0

6a2-6a-20a+20=0

6aa-1-20a-1=0

6a-20a-1=0

a1=1 & a2=206=103

So, a1+3a2=1+10=11
