The correct answers are:
Ethyl chioride, Benzaldehyde
(a) Ethyl chioride gives ethyl cyanide, when it reacts with KCN (ethanolic).
$$
\mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{H}_{5} \mathrm{Cl}+\mathrm{KCN} \stackrel{\text { EThande }}{\longrightarrow} \mathrm{C}_{2}\mathrm{H}_{\mathrm{s}}-\mathrm{CN}
$$
(b) It does not react with KCN.
(c) Benzaldehyde : KCN gives HCN in alcoholic medium and HCN gives cyanohydrin with benzaldehyde.

$$
\mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{H}_{5} \mathrm{Cl}+\mathrm{KCN} \stackrel{\text { EThande }}{\longrightarrow} \mathrm{C}_{2}\mathrm{H}_{\mathrm{s}}-\mathrm{CN}
$$
(b) It does not react with KCN.
(c) Benzaldehyde : KCN gives HCN in alcoholic medium and HCN gives cyanohydrin with benzaldehyde.
