The correct answer is:
$p$ -nitrotoluene is formed in excess
As toluene and chlorobenzene, both can react with mixture of conc. $\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{SO}_{4}$ and conc. HNO $_{3}$. but being more reactive, toluene will yield p-nitrotoluene in excess.
