Arsenic sulphide solution \(\left(\mathrm{As}_2 \mathrm{~S}_3 \mathrm{~S}^{2-}\right)\) is a hydrophobic solution i.e. it has poor or zero affinity towards dispersion medium \(\left(\mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}\right)\). Whereas, solution of gum, starch and protein are individually hydrophilic in nature as they are natural polymers (dispersed phase).
