    nRTVT2=constant

or T3V-1= constant

Differentiating the equation, we get

3T2V.dT-T3V2.dV=0

or 3.dT=TV.dV

From the equation, dV=VγdT

γ= coefficient of volume expansion of gas

= dVV.dT

            γ=dVV.dT=3T
