The correct answer is: 300  cm 3
According to Boyle's law, pressure and volume are inversely proportional to each other i.e.  p 1 v

P 1 V 1 = P 2 V 2

( P 0 + h ρ w g ) V 1 = P 0 V 2

V 2 = ( 1 + h ρ w g P 0 ) V 1

V 2 = 1+ 47.6*1*1000*10 70* 10 2 *13.6*1000*10 V 1

[As P 2 = P 0 =70cmofHg=70* 10 2 *13.6*1000*10]

V 2 = 1 + 5 5 cm 3 = 3 0 cm 3
