When approaches:2.2×103=f0300300-Vs ...(i)

When recedes:1.8×103=f0300300+Vs ...(ii)

Dividing (i) by (ii)

2 . 2 1 . 8 = 3 0 0 + V S 3 0 0 - V S 4 0 . 4 = 6 0 0 2 V S

  VS = 30 m s-1
