Given : VC = 3VR = 3(V - VC)

Here, V is the applied potential.
 

V C = 3 4 V

orV(1et/T)=34 V

e t/τ = 1 4

t=τln4=2τln2.

Here τ=CR=10 s

t=2×10×0.693=13.86s
