The correct answer is: Annealing < Polymerisation < Denaturation
PCR is Polymerase chain reaction. This technique is used to form numerous copies of a specific segment of DNA. Thus large quantities of DNA are obtained that are required for various experiments in medicine, molecular biology, forensic biology etc. The steps are:

1. Denaturation of the template into single strands. The temperature is 94 degree celsius.

2. Annealing of primers to each original strand for new strand synthesis. the temperature is 50-60 degree celsius

3. Polymerisation :Extension of new DNA strands from the primers. The temperature is 72 degree celsius.
