If both assertion and reason are true and reason is the correct explanation of assertion
When external torque acting on the system is zero then only the total angular mom entum of system is considered to be conserved.
If $L=I \omega=$ constant , $\tau=I \alpha=0$.
$\therefore \quad \alpha=\frac{d \omega}{d t}=0$ for constant $\omega$.
If $L=I \omega=$ constant , $\tau=I \alpha=0$.
$\therefore \quad \alpha=\frac{d \omega}{d t}=0$ for constant $\omega$.
