$\therefore$ In high spin situation, $\Delta_0 < P$, in $d^5$ configuration, $4^{\text {th }}$ and $5^{\text {th }}$ electron are added to $e_g$ rather than $t_{2 g}$. So configuration of $d^5$ ion will be $t_{2 g}^3 e_g^2$.
