Bond order of \(\mathrm{N}_2=3\), bond order of \(\mathrm{O}_2=2\). Higher the bond order, higher is the bond dissociation energy i.e. higher stability or less reactivity. Thus \(\mathrm{N}_2\) is less reactive than \(\mathrm{O}_2\).
Higher the bond order, shorter is the bond length. Higher bond order of \(\mathrm{N}_2\) shows its shorter bond length.
