If assertion is true but reason is false
For first order reaction, $\operatorname{Rate}_1=k\left[A_1\right]$
According to question, $\left[A_2\right]=\left[2 A_1\right]$
$\begin{aligned}
& \therefore \text { Rate }_2=k\left[2 A_1\right] \\
& \Rightarrow \text { Rate }_2=2 \text { Rate }_1
\end{aligned}$
For a given reaction, rate constant is constant and independent of the concentration of reactant.
According to question, $\left[A_2\right]=\left[2 A_1\right]$
