The correct answer is: Assertion is false but Reason is true

When a body reverses its direction, it comes to rest for a moment e.g. a body thrown upward at the topmost point. Hence, the reason statement is correct. In the same example, at the topmost point the velocity of the particle is zero but, the acceleration of the particle is equal to the acceleration due to gravity i.e. it is non zero. Hence, the assertion statement is false.
