The correct answer is: $7.3756 \mathrm{~ms}^{-1}$
Here, velocity head $=20 \mathrm{~cm}$ of Hg
$=20 \times 13.6 \mathrm{~cm}$ of water.
As, velocity head $=\frac{v^2}{2 \mathrm{~g}}$
$\therefore \quad 20 \times 13.6=\frac{\mathrm{v}^2}{2 \times 1000}$
$\begin{aligned} \mathrm{v} & =\sqrt{20 \times 13.6 \times 2 \times 1000} \\ & =737.56 \mathrm{cms}^{-1} \\ & =7.3756 \mathrm{~ms}^{-1}\end{aligned}$
