(i) Molecular mass of \(\mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}=2(1.008 \mathrm{amu})+16.00 \mathrm{amu}\) \(=18.016\) amu.
(ii) Molecular mass of \(\mathrm{CO}_2=12.01 \mathrm{amu}+2 \times 16.00 \mathrm{amu}\) \(=44.01 \mathrm{amu}\).
(iii) Molecular mass of \(\mathrm{CH}_4=12.01 \mathrm{amu}+4(1.008 \mathrm{amu})\) \(=16.042 \mathrm{amu}\).
(ii) Molecular mass of \(\mathrm{CO}_2=12.01 \mathrm{amu}+2 \times 16.00 \mathrm{amu}\) \(=44.01 \mathrm{amu}\).
(iii) Molecular mass of \(\mathrm{CH}_4=12.01 \mathrm{amu}+4(1.008 \mathrm{amu})\) \(=16.042 \mathrm{amu}\).
