The Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium is a principle which states that the genetic variations (frequencies of alleles, gene versions, genotypes ) in a population from one generation to another generation will always remain constant if there are no evolutionary disturbing factors. Any variations will result in changed frequency of genes and alleles in the coming generations.
