Both 'A' and 'B' belong to group-2 where 'B' comes below 'A'.
Both 'A' and 'B' belong to group-2, because the 3rd ionization energy is very high, it means 3rd electron gets removed from internal shell and where 'B' comes below 'A', because on moving from top to bottom in group the ionization energy decreases.
