Crop and gizzard are found in the digestive tract of birds (Aves). They are also present in some arthropods like cockroaches, however, it is not characteristic of the class.
Crop helps in storage and softening of food particles whereas gizzard (muscular stomach) helps in its crushing and churning.

The digestive systems of reptiles, amphibians and bony fishes do not possess these organs.
