The correct answer is: 3
$A=-3$ and $B=8$
Given, $2^{x}+3 y=17$
and $2^{x+2}-3^{y+1}=5$
$\Rightarrow 4.2^{x}-3.3^{y}=5$
From equation (i) and (ii), we get $2^{x}=8$ and $3 y=9$
$\Rightarrow x=3$ and $y=2$
