The correct answer is: -2

Given a=i^+j^+k^, b=i^-j^+2k^ and c=xi^+x-2j^-k^.

Since, the vector c lies in the plane of vectors a and b, therefore a, b and c are coplanar.

If three vectors a1i^+a2j^+a3k^, b1i^+b2j^+b3k^ and c1i^+c2j^+c3k^ are coplanar, then

a1a2a3b1b2b3c1c2c3=0.

1×1-2x+4-1×-1-2x+1×x-2+x=0

5-2x+1+2x+2x-2=0

x=-2
