The correct answer is: v2=GM2r-1a
As in case of elliptic orbit of a satellite mechanical energy

remains constant, at any position of satellite in the orbit,

KE + PE =-GMm2a ...(i)

Now, if at position r,v is the orbital speed of satellite

KE = 12 mv2  and PE = -GMmr ...(ii)

So, from Eqs. (i) and (ii), we have

12 mv2-GMmr=-GMm2a, i.e., v2=GM2r-1a
